I have been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years now working predominantly in hospitals. However 7 years ago I decided to follow my dream of Cosmetic Aesthetics and haven’t looked back!
I have been a cosmetic nurse for 5 years now and in that time completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Cosmetic Nursing amongst a variety of other courses and workshops to ensure my skills are relevant and safe. I also continue to nurse in acute mainstream medicine.
I have had a love of skin and skincare for over 20 years now and look at each person as a unique individual who has unique needs. I am passionate about delivering natural looking results and strive to deliver a high level of care with transparency and compassion. I do not over treat.
They took the time to double cleanse my skin before a spray tan! Amazing service 😊

Found this place while searching for a facial on google and wow I was so impressed. The best facial I’ve ever gotten - Jazz took my skin concerns so seriously and has set me up with a plan to address these. The space is lovely and very professional. Loved the arm massage while the LED facial was going. Excited to return ☺️

I’ve never felt this comfortable in my own skin…My skin is glowing and plump as if it’s been injected some water. Amazing treatment and very knowledgeable staff.A massive difference right after the treatment. What more can you ask for?

I visited this cosy clinic on a rainy day last month. Amanda was my facialist, who conducted a skin review before advising on what to go with. It was definitely one of the best facials I have ever had, so relaxing & my skin was glowing afterwards. Highly recommend!

Had a facial with Amanda for the first time after finding the place on Google, as my regular spot didn’t have any booking for the day. Ended up being one of the best facials I have experienced so far. Amazing service, Amanda gave me the perfect recommendations after taking my skin’s needs and concerns into account. Came out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! I will definitely be back.

Updated 18/9/22: I still visit Take Off regularly but I now see Jazz every 2 months for skin treatments and eyebrow. Jazz is amazing. He fixes my skin and has managed to keep my sensitive prone to eczema skin under control. He has also performed some magic to my patchy uneven eyebrows.I won’t go anywhere else for facials and eyebrows.I decided to book a facial at Take Off after reading the glowing reviews here and I had to say, it was brilliant. My therapist, Cecilia, is knowledgeable and very thorough. The skin analysis was so helpful. O'Cosmedics products used on my skin are gentle and they smelt amazing. Even after peel, steam and extraction, my skin still felt hydrated afterwards. No redness or any slight feeling of discomfort. I will definitely be back.

I can't recommend them enough! I've had great results on my skin thanks to their treatments, products and advice, as well as fantastic results on IPL. I've personally been seen by Amanda and Jazz and they're are highly knowledgeable and very friendly.

Loved my first facial experience at Take Off. Great results, in depth explanations and analysis of skin. Love my routine with just 2 new products added in there (1 morning, 1 evening) now so much, refreshens and relaxes me day and night.

Have gotten my eyebrow shaped/waxed a few times and takeoff, the last time I went, I came out disappointed as the shape weren't consistent between the left & right.I gave takeoff another go, and this time chose Mone B for my appointment. She is amazing! She took the the time to discuss the shape and suggested a tint and I came out so happy with my eyebrows and with her service and skills. I think I've found my favourite local eyebrow person!!

I've been a client of Take Off for the past 2yrs after I moved to the area and was looking for a new salon. Am so glad i found them! I've had the absolute pleasure of having Amanda as my facialists for the last year and found her to be extremely knowledgeable as well as truly kind and caring. The team always makes me feel welcome from the moment i walk up the stairs and I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. Amanda from TakeOff is a goddess!! She has been my go to skin therapist since 2018 and holy wow does my skin love me for it! I trust her with my life and I constantly get so many compliments on my skin- and as someone who had acne as a teenager and thus had to resort to intense medication this is the highest compliment! I stay looking young simply because Amanda is in charge of my treatments and my skin care routine! COULD NOT recommend TakeOff or Amanda more!

I started going to Take Off because it was closer to home than my last beautician. I've continued going because the team is wonderful.I've been seeing Amanda for the past eight months. I appreciate her approach to beauty therapy--she asks questions, listens to my concerns, and makes suggestions appropriately. If I already have products that I like using, she works around them. I don't feel like she's trying to upsell me or get me to buy certain things "just because." And my skin has never looked better. :)Also, unlike many places, Take Off doesn't have a revolving staff of employees, which says a lot about what the team values. My skin and I highly recommend this one!

My skin never looked/felt better!!!Never being the one to 'pamper myself' or get facials, I tried Take Off earlier this year after receiving a voucher for a facial treatment and can I say WOW!After receiving just one treatment I noticed a difference straight away and realised things such as my blackheads and rosacea could easily be treated with only a monthly visit for a facial. If I knew this beforehand, I would have visited sooner. Ever since this first experience I have gone back for monthly facials. Each time I am greeted by friendly staff who are so knowledgeable about what your skin needs (they are also very respectful of your budget and never try to up sell you).I look forward to my monthly visits as it is such a relaxing and comfortable environment - See you next month!

I have been seeing Amanda from Take Off Skin & Body since 2016. She is experienced, knowledgable and always so lovely and patient. I believe my skin loves me extra more after every visit (except maybe after Dermapen but we all know that it's all worth it - goodbye pores!).This is the place I can trust my skin with and I know I will miss it dearly moving away from Melbourne.

I saw Imogen today and received a thorough consultation and treatment for a very affordable price. I have very sensitive skin with eczema and struggle with facial treatments as many products will cause irritation and redness that can last for days. I actually went in mid flare up and came out with my skin looking much improved and the redness receded further throughout the day.There was no upselling or pressure to buy. Instead I came away with a sample so I can test out the product at home before buying which is a must for sensitive skin I think.I only wish I lived in Melbourne so I could see Take Off Skin and Body regularly!

All of my treatments at Take Off Skin & Body have been amazing! The ambience of the clinic is so relaxing and the staff are so friendly. I love how each treatment was customised to suit my skint type and concerns, which meant that I saw big improvements in the space of a couple of months! Love how they do a full analysis on your skin first before going ahead with any treatment. I have never looked back. They also don't pressure you into buying any products or spam you with emails. I had Jane and she was amazingly helpful in educating good skincare and what I can do at home to better improve my skin. Definitely worth checking out!
