How does IPL work?
A fully trained therapist will apply a specially designed hand piece to your skin and generate an intense pulse of light which will be absorbed by targets in your skin. The light delivered from the hand piece is delivered at high intensity during a very short period of time. It is this rapid discharge of light that provides the high energy levels required for each IPL treatment to be effective!

IPL hair removal treatments are easy, painless and quick solution to unwanted hair and can be successfully used on the body or the face. Usually a course of 6 – 8 treatments is required to achieve optimal result, but once you’ve completed your treatment cycle, you can look forward to a lifetime of smooth skin with only the occasional maintenance treatment. Compare that to the cost and hassle of a lifetime of waxing.

We will send you an SMS & an email 48hrs prior to your appointment to allow for any changes or cancellations.
Booking deposit
A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings. This is payable at time of booking.
Cancellation policy
We understand that sometimes you may need to change your booking. We kindly request 24 hours notice so we can offer that time slot to another client. Your deposit will be held for your next booking, or refunded. However if you don't provide us with 24 hours notice or you fail to turn up for your appointment, you may send a friend or family member in your place, or your deposit or pre-paid appointment will be forfeited.

Had a facial with Amanda for the first time after finding the place on Google, as my regular spot didn’t have any booking for the day. Ended up being one of the best facials I have experienced so far. Amazing service, Amanda gave me the perfect recommendations after taking my skin’s needs and concerns into account. Updated 18/9/22: I still visit Take Off regularly but I now see Jazz every 2 months for skin treatments and eyebrow. Jazz is amazing. He fixes my skin and has managed to keep my sensitive prone to eczema skin under control. He has also performed some magic to my patchy uneven eyebrows.I won’t go anywhere else for facials and eyebrows.I decided to book a facial at Take Off after reading the glowing reviews here and I had to say, it was brilliant. My therapist, Cecilia, is knowledgeable and very thorough. The skin analysis was so helpful. O'Cosmedics products used on my skin are gentle and they smelt amazing. Even after peel, steam and extraction, my skin still felt hydrated afterwards. No redness or any slight feeling of discomfort. I will definitely be back.

Have gotten my eyebrow shaped/waxed a few times and takeoff, the last time I went, I came out disappointed as the shape weren't consistent between the left & right.I gave takeoff another go, and this time chose Mone B for my appointment. She is amazing! She took the the time to discuss the shape and suggested a tint and I came out so happy with my eyebrows and with her service and skills. Amanda from TakeOff is a goddess!! She has been my go to skin therapist since 2018 and holy wow does my skin love me for it! I trust her with my life and I constantly get so many compliments on my skin- and as someone who had acne as a teenager and thus had to resort to intense medication this is the highest compliment! I appreciate her approach to beauty therapy--she asks questions, listens to my concerns, and makes suggestions appropriately. If I already have products that I like using, she works around them. My skin never looked/felt better!!!Never being the one to 'pamper myself' or get facials, I tried Take Off earlier this year after receiving a voucher for a facial treatment and can I say WOW!After receiving just one treatment I noticed a difference straight away and realised things such as my blackheads and rosacea could easily be treated with only a monthly visit for a facial. If I knew this beforehand, I would have visited sooner. Ever since this first experience I have gone back for monthly facials. Each time I am greeted by friendly staff who are so knowledgeable about what your skin needs (they are also very respectful of your budget and never try to up sell you).I look forward to my monthly visits as it is such a relaxing and comfortable environment - See you next month!

I saw Imogen today and received a thorough consultation and treatment for a very affordable price. I have very sensitive skin with eczema and struggle with facial treatments as many products will cause irritation and redness that can last for days. I actually went in mid flare up and came out with my skin looking much improved and the redness receded further throughout the day.There was no upselling or pressure to buy. Instead I came away with a sample so I can test out the product at home before buying which is a must for sensitive skin I think.I only wish I lived in Melbourne so I could see Take Off Skin and Body regularly!

Love how they do a full analysis on your skin first before going ahead with any treatment. I have never looked back. They also don't pressure you into buying any products or spam you with emails. I had Jane and she was amazingly helpful in educating good skincare and what I can do at home to better improve my skin. Definitely worth checking out!
